"Wow!" said Cloud, grinning broadly. "Geeze makes me want to be a chocobo!"

"Well your hair is halfway there, yo..."

Cloud. Cloud. You didn't just walk into that. You CARTWHEELED. :B

There were gold and black birds, but also some incredible colour adaptations as well. There was a female with feathers of a gleaming metallic green and gold, and another the greys and blacks of a stormy night. There was a male the colour of cream and ice, and a blue hen with cloud-like patterns. The most spectacular, however, was a black hen with steaks of green and blue, her face an incredible Mardi Gras mask of gold. Cloud and Reno dug into a treat bin and shared out the sweet greens as they admired the beautiful animals.

Those sound really pretty. Especially the first and last ones.

Reno stopped talking as a truly enormous chocobo the colour of rock and hellfire jogged up, looking around at the scene. A number of the chocobos seemed to recall previous engagements and quickly departed. The newcomer had one blue eye, and one red, and did not seem as friendly as the others.

Neat! These birbs deserve art.

I wonder how long Cloud'll be able to stay cloistered on the Highwind this time...
