Genesis looked around. “Where did my son get to?”

It was a question that Cloud could not wait to have answered. He was dying to see the offspring of two of the greatest warriors ever bred. Would he have Angeal’s broad frame and power, and Genesis’ red hair and temper? His mother’s keen wit and his father’s gentle humour? Cloud felt a jolt of excitement as he heard the footsteps coming up the stairs, anxiously awaiting his first look at the offspring of two genetically matched First Class warriors.

He wasn’t sure if he was disappointed or not.

The first thing Cloud noticed about the young man was his long golden-red hair, falling in a reddish curtain to his thighs, matching eyes, and unearthly beauty that could only be a result of the modifications done to his parents. He also had a warrior’s sense of creating an impression, and he was dressed in clothes of scarlet and gold, patterned with dragons and fighting cocks, boots and gloves of soft black leather, and a flowing coat with wide skirts that created an impression of speed and movement. He had a long red and gold sword over his back, a fighting knife on each hip, and the back of each glove sported long golden claws for slashing enemies in combat.

He was also exactly five feet tall.
